Srinagar:- Hundreds of patients from different areas of Anantnag district availed free medical facilities at a day-long medical camp organized on Sunday at the Rising Institute of Scientific Education, Shangus in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

The camp was jointly organized by Salute 72 Live Blood Donors Group in collaboration with Noorkash Foundation, aiming to extend healthcare services to underserved communities.

Doctors from multiple specialties attended the event, providing free medical check-ups, consultations, and medicines to the patients.

Organizers said the camp witnessed a large turnout, reflecting the growing need for accessible healthcare in the region.

Speaking on the occasion, members of the organizing groups said the initiative was part of their continued efforts to serve society. “Our goal is to reach out to people who cannot afford regular healthcare and ensure no one is left behind when it comes to treatment,” they said.

Locals appreciated the initiative, thanking the volunteers and medical professionals for their services. Many urged that such camps be held regularly in remote areas where medical facilities remain limited.

The camp, which ran from 10 AM to 3 PM, concluded with a pledge to conduct more such health outreach programs in the future.
